I am thrilled to be the Library Media Specialist here at Eclectic Middle School ! I joined EMS in 2016 and every year is better than the last! I earned my Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood/Elementary Education from the University of Montevallo, and later earned my Master's degree in Educational Media from the University of South Alabama. I love spending time with my hilarious husband and our two crazy kids, Jack and Kate.

I am passionate about young adult literature and sharing our incredible collection with our students! My goals are not only to get (and keep) kids excited about reading, but also to introduce them to valuable digital citizenship skills as they grow in their experiences with the Internet, both academically and socially. I'm also very excited about the growing place of STEM education in our media center.
